September 17, 1950 to March 25, 2024~ Born on September 17, 1950, in Belcourt, North Dakota, Frank Andrew “Andy” Connor III, journeyed on March 25, 2024, from heart related issues in Melbourne, Florida. He resided in Florida for over 45 years. He was planning an epic trip out West with his son, Rich, and his wife in 2025, at the time of his passing.

Andy became a man at nine-years-old when his father passed on. He worked hard to give his mother financial help by going door-to-door asking people for work when they returned to Chemawa after his father's passing. Andy was a fun-loving guy who was a mathematical genius. He had an amazing wit as he observed the world.

He became an engineer after his studies at OIT. Andy refused to accept financial aid claiming grants were for people who couldn’t work, working three jobs during his college years. Once employed in telecommunications he flew around the world as a troubleshooter. Andy was lured to move to Florida with a voice program he created. In his later years he did handyman services. Andy especially loved helping single parent households. He has several patents because of his intelligence and forward thinking.

Andy asked to be cremated without a funeral or memorial service. Please contact his eldest son, Rich, at richardconnor66@yahoo.com to share any memories you might have of Andy.

Andy leaves behind his sons, Richard Grant Connor (Vergie) and James Claude Connor (Sara); four grandchildren, Kailee Connor Smith, Benjamin Connor, Ella Connor, and Mia Connor; sisters, Leona Green (Pat), Julia Connor-Dunlap (Brie), and adopted stepbrother, Marc Reimer; eight nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Franklyn Connor II, in 1959; mother, Leona Connor Reimer in 2018; and beloved sister, Margaret Dickson in 2018, and her husband, Gary in 2003.
