Man accused of trying to rob Cumberland Farms in Boston at gunpoint
Two men in their 60s have been charged in connection with the attempted armed robbery of a Cumberland Farms store in Boston earlier this week, police said. James Wise, 64, of Boston, and David Jones, 65, of Lynn, were arrested Friday on robbery- and firearms-related charges following the attempted armed robbery at the Cumberland Farms at 148 Chestnut Hill Ave. in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston late Wednesday, according to a statement from the Boston Police Department.
