A Moose Is Loose In Bismarck
(Bismarck, ND) — A moose was roaming the streets in Bismarck and Williston. Workers at the Gateway Mall in Bismarck spotted the great, four-legged beast on Thursday morning. One onlooker told KFYR that she thought it was a cow at first because of how big it was. Williston Police say the animal was spotted later in the day but had safely made it out of town. Game and Fish says moose typically follow natural corridors looking for food and resources and incidents like this one happen often during this time of year.

Bismarck animal shelter seeks $160,000 in restitution
BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - A Bismarck-based animal rescue is asking to be paid back by a woman involved in an animal neglect case. Furry Friends Rockin’ Rescue took in about 30 animals after they were neglected. The organization is asking for roughly $160,000 for vet bills and other expenses.
