Food Pantry Issues Plea for Help
(Bismarck, ND) – As temperatures decrease across North Dakota, the need for food is increasing. Local food pantries say the seasonal squeeze is already underway. The Dream Center in Bismarck is stocking up now with everyday staples like hot soups and cereal. When the colder weather arrives, staff say the need ramps up quickly. They expect the demand to rise this year because of higher fuel and heating costs. The Dream Center food pantry and hot meal services are open to anyone in the community needing help. You can find their full meal hours and pantry schedule on their website.
