In March, the nurses filed a petition with the National Labor Relations Board requesting a vote to remove the union.

On May 9 and 10, the nurses cast secret ballots in a vote conducted by the federal government, rejecting NNU’s representation and deciding to proceed without a union, according to VRMC.
