An expressionist at heart
Sharyland Pioneer senior Katia Dowling is ending her high school chapter by celebrating her success as a two-time State UIL champion for prose and poetry. As an avid reader, theater kid, and bibliophile, Dowling felt herself with expressive arts. Her involvement in the theater would eventually lead her to join UIL with some guidance from her theater directors.
