Food, festivities and fun expected for this year’s MXLAN

McALLEN, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — If you’re looking for food, fun and music this weekend, consider attending MXLAN at the McAllen Convention Center.

The three-day arts, music and culture event will feature a lineup of rising latino artists and musicians to celebrate arts and culture.

MXLAN will kickoff Friday with an artisan mercado and live performances by Los Aptos, Rubio, Selines and Lunar Heart.

Los Aptos will go on stage at 6 p.m.

Latin Grammy nominee Caloncho will headline Saturday night and will be joined by Vanessa Zamora, Ceci Ceci, Brownboyz and Myrka Chapa.

Sunday’s live music performance will showcase music by La Lom, Alta Reala, Desta French, Andria Rose, and Dani Tiscareno.

MXLAN will run through Sunday, which falls on Cinco de Mayo.
