It’s official, there have been 100 tornadoes in Oklahoma so far this year. Usually there are half that many by now. Dr. Jason Furtado is an Associate professor at the University of Oklahoma School of Meteorology. He tells Radio Oklahoma News Network anchor Bob Sands the tornado outbreaks are hard to trace to climate change. Dr. Furtado does say tornados in more eastern and southern states are more likely due to climate change along with fall and winter tornados.
