Ellis County Commissioners to Review Proposed Development Replat in Waxahachie Area
Ellis County is set to reconsider the development map for a small slice of the Waxahachie area community with its sights set on a repeat in Whispering Meadows Addition. The Ellis County Commissioners’ Court has placed on its upcoming agenda a replat application that, if approved, will redraw the boundary between two tracts of land just east of the junction of Boyce Road and Wilson Road. According to official notices, this matter involves approximately 4.920 acres within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of Waxahachie. The proposed changes pertain to Tracts 9A-1R & 9A-2R, which are revisions of the previously platted Tracts 9A-1 & 9A-2.

DUNCANVILLE, Texas — The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing teen, Sydney “Martin” Seyffert. The 17-year-old was last seen leaving their home in Duncanville, Texas, on January 30, 2024. The child may go by the name Martin and is described as 5'7", weighs 115 lbs., and has brown eyes with brown hair. Authorities believe the child may have traveled to Virginia or North Carolina.
