A Venus, Texas man was arrested Thursday night by Brenham Police. They report that at 9:25 p.m., Officers responded to the 2100 block of Highway 290 West in reference to an intoxicated person. Upon further investigation, Cedric Gene Nickerson, 35 of Venus, Texas, was heavily intoxicated and walking on a public roadway. He also showed to have multiple warrants out for his arrest.
