Dump truck crash injures Bell man
A 61-year-old Bell man is in serious condition after his dump truck blew a tire Tuesday and crashed into a tree on State Road 247 in Columbia County. According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the man was driving a 1995 Ford LTLS 9000 dump truck south on SR 247 south of SW Allison Terrace at 1:15 p.m. when the left front tire blew out. The truck travelled off the east shoulder where it struck a tree.

Fort White basketball standout signs her national letter of intent with Warner University
FORT WHITE, Fla. (WCJB) - This week at Fort White high school, Indians girls basketball standout N’Coreyia Atkins signs her NLI with Warner University. In front of family, friends, and teammates, the multi-sport athlete put pen to paper to play for the Royals women’s basketball program. Atkins played girls basketball and played a role in the softball program. Atkins is coming off a 5-1 win over Madison County in the Class 1A regional semifinal. Atkins is going to major in physical therapy. But the key to her success is how her coaches put her in the right spot to take the next level in her game.
