Tracking a gloomy Monday
Plan for another gray day this Monday, complete with cloudy skies, below normal temperatures and some scattered showers. While this is conducive weather for a lazy day, we're tracking more sunshine as the week carries on! The sun returns and temperatures rebound into the upper 60s to around 70 on Tuesday and this warmer weather will hang around through the first half of the week with chances for showers and thunderstorms mainly in the overnight hours. Tuesday evening could also bring some stronger thunderstorms as a low pressure system passes nearby, so we'll be watching that. Showers and storms during the day will return on Thursday as another disturbance passes near the area. For the end of the week into next weekend, drier weather can be expected with temperatures hovering around 60 degrees and just stray showers dotting the area.
