Clark named Big 12 Pitcher of the Week
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — For the second time this season, WVU starting pitcher Derek Clark has earned two of the Big 12 Conference’s weekly honors this week. Following his 10-strikeout performance against Kansas State on Saturday, Clark is the Big 12 Pitcher and Newcomer of the Week. He earned those same accolades last month after a seven-strikeout complete-game performance against Kansas.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — With Max Green leading the way, the WVU golf team is in third place in the 14-team NCAA Regional field after Day 2 in Rancho Santa Fe, California. West Virginia moved up three spots on Tuesday, and was the only team to shoot even- or under-par on the day. With an even-par team score Tuesday, the Mountaineers remain +5 (565) for the tournament, and are just two shots behind leader North Florida.
