35 Seattle-area ZIP codes among wealthiest in US, report says
SEATTLE — 35 different ZIP codes in the Seattle area were among the Wealthy 1000 in a list compiled by The Business Journal. The 98101, which includes Pike Place Market and a good portion of the Seattle waterfront, is the region's wealthiest and comes in at No. 51 in the country.
E-bikes get the green light on King County trails

SR-520 Bridge closed this weekend
SEATTLE - If you often drive between Seattle and the Eastside, heads up — the SR-520 Bridge will be closed all of next weekend. The closure is just the latest step in the Washington State Department of Transportation’s five-year plan to overhaul SR-520 in Seattle’s Montlake neighborhood, which is slated to wrap up in Summer 2024.

Snohomian’s photo wins state award
SNOHOMISH — Snohomish High senior McKaye Morrill, who graduated this week, recently had her photo “Janitor” selected for an award at the state level. The prominent window is in the Ellis Island Center in New York. She was in the city to receive a National Scholastic Arts & Writing award for one of her prior photographs. The silhouette contrast was natural.
