    Ohio Valley police arrest Ohio man for allegedly trafficking fentanyl

    WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ohio — A Columbus man is behind bars after Agents with the Southeast Ohio Major Crimes Task Force conducted an undercover narcotics sale in Marietta, Ohio, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office .

    According to Officials, Emetayare Enomate, 26, used his social media account to coordinate with the undercover agents to meet on Pike Street in Marietta for the sale of $3,000 worth of narcotics.

    Officials say the agents witnessed Enomate pull into the location and park his vehicle. He then exited and walked to a business, returning to his vehicle shortly later.

    Agents say they approached Enomate and detained him.

    When asked if agents could search, Enomate consented. It is reported that agents located two separate packages of fentanyl on Enomate, one weighing 38.08 grams and the other weighing 25.84 grams.

    Officials say Enomate was placed under arrest and charged with trafficking in fentanyl and possession of fentanyl, both first-degree felonies.

    Enomate appeared in Marietta Municipal Court and is being held on $200,000 bond.

    The Southeast Major Crimes Task Force is part of Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost’s Organized Crime Investigation Commission and is comprised of representatives of the Washington, Morgan, Noble, Meigs County Sheriff’s Offices; the Marietta, Belpre, Middleport, and McConnelsville Police Departments; the Washington, Morgan, Noble, Meigs County Prosecutor’s Offices; and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
