Rebels shine at Hamline Elite Meet
A number of Champlin Park students earned impressive finishes last week at the Hamline Elite Meet on April 26 held on Hamline Universty’s Klas Track and Field. Abigail Hibbs led the way for Champlin Park in individual events, earning third place in the girls 3200-meter run with a time of 10:49.97. The 4x100 girls relay team of Amara Easley, Makayla Shipman, Jayi Wilson, and Theodosia Thomas took fifth with a time of 49.51. The 4x200 team, which featured Olivia Osonowo in place of Thomas, took seventh in the girls finals with a time of 1:45.89.
