Part of Bridge Street Closes Weekdays and Southbound Roosevelt Boulevard Loses Two Lanes Near Cottman as PennDOT Work Hits the Northeast

Two PennDOT work zones could slow Northeast drivers this month, on Bridge Street at I-95 and on southbound Roosevelt Boulevard near Cottman Avenue, according to PennDOT. Bridge Street is closed and detoured between Tacony Street and James Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays from Thursday, Nov. 5, through Friday, Nov. 20, for overhead construction on the I-95 bridge, PennDOT and PhillyVoice reported. Tacony Street will remain open between Bridge Street and Aramingo Avenue during the weekday closure, PennDOT said in its Nov. 3 notice.
