2 killed, 2 injured in early morning Varina crash
Two people were killed and two others injured in a two-vehicle crash in Varina early Thursday morning, according to Henrico Police. The crash happened at the intersection of South Laburnum Avenue and New Market Road (Route 5) at about 6:17 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a box truck on its side in the woodline along with a SUV, police said.
