NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Three teens were rescued from the side of a cliff near Columbia University's "Big C Rock" on the Harlem River on Wednesday evening, officials said.

The FDNY received a call just before 7 p.m. about teen boys stuck on a cliff face adjacent to the "Big C" in Spuyten Duyvil, the Bronx.

The teens had been jumping off rocks into Spuyten Duyvil Creek when they became trapped on the craggy landscape, according to the FDNY.

The FDNY and NYPD responded to Indian Road and West 218th Street in Inwood Hill Park, just west of Columbia University’s Baker Athletics Complex, and across the river from where the trio was stranded.

Citizen App video shows an NYPD Harbor Unit boat in the water as one teen balances on the side of the cliff.
