Man shot in leg in Hell’s Kitchen; 2 men flee scene in black SUV: sources

HELL’S KITCHEN, Manhattan (PIX11) – A man was shot early Wednesday morning in Hell’s Kitchen, according to the NYPD.

It happened on West 49th Street between 8th and 9th avenues around 4:08 a.m., police said. The 43-year-old man was shot once in the upper left leg, according to authorities.

He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue.

Two men, who appear to have known the victim, fled the scene in a black SUV, sources told PIX11 News.
