Coeburn man admits to shooting man during argument over money, authorities say
WISE COUNTY, Va. (WCYB) — A Coeburn man admitted to shooting another man during an argument regarding money, according to the Wise County Sheriff's Office. Randall Richard Potter, 63, called 911 on Friday morning and said he had shot someone during an argument over money, the sheriff's office stated. The incident occurred on Dan Hall Road.

Four charged with stealing water service
Four people were cited recently on charges that they were stealing water service from the City of Hazard. According to court documents, in each case, water service to the residences had been cut off. But, when the City of Hazard Water Department examined the meters running to the residence, they found that water service was running.
