KY 70 bridge to be replaced in Madisonville

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A project to replace the KY 70 bridge in Madisonville will begin this month.

Officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet say the bridge over Richland Creek will be replaced by a modern bridge to ensure driver safety. The project is expected to take three months.

A detour has not been put in place, but a proposal has been made.

The new bridge is expected to be finished by the end of September.
