MADISON, Wis. -- Over 10,000 people gathered for the annual Mifflin Street Block Party Saturday.

Madison Police say they arrested more than 80 people for minor alcohol related offenses and six were booked into Dane County Jail. Police say additional citations are possible and final numbers will be released next week.

More than 150 officers worked the event.

Around 2:35 p.m. Madison Police assisted Madison Fire after a front porch partially broke at 527 W. Mifflin Street. The number of people on the porch is unknown at this time. No injuries were reported and the property was cordoned off for safety.

Around 2:40 p.m. officers cleared the backyards for homes along the 500 block of Mifflin Street after a car was flipped over. No injuries were reported during the incident and another car in the area was also damaged.

First responders were notified about a downed power line, which was determined to be a low-voltage communications wire.

Madison Police say one officer suffered minor injuries after she was hit by a vehicle. Police say she was walking around and alert when she was taken to the hospital by EMS.

The driver remained at the scene and was not cited.
