MADISON, Wis. -- Residents of Madison & nearby surrounding areas now have a new way to have groceries and items from other stores delivered to their homes.

In a release Tuesday, Amazon announced that it had launched a grocery delivery subscription for Prime members at $9.99/month, and for customers with a registered SNAP/EBT card at $4.99/month.

The subscription comes with unlimited delivery on orders over $35 from Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, and a variety of local grocery and specialty retailers.

Amazon said it includes one-hour delivery windows at no extra cost where available, unlimited 30-minute pickup on orders of any size, and priority access to Recurring Reservations for weekly grocery orders.

Amazon piloted its grocery subscription with Prime members in Columbus, Ohio; Denver, Colorado; and Sacramento, California, in late 2023.
