Warrants issued for man, woman suspected in downtown Madison shooting

MADISON, Wis. -- Arrest warrants were issued for a man and woman suspected in a downtown Madison shooting, police said Wednesday.

Online court records show Kevin Brown, 39, is charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide and possessing a firearm as an out-of-state felon. Nicole Brown, 39, is charged with harboring or aiding a felon.

The charges stem from a shooting that injured a man Sunday morning.

Arrest warrants were issued for a man and woman suspected in a downtown Madison shooting, police said Wednesday.

Madison police said a man was found with a gunshot wound in the 300 block of West Gorham Street at around 2:50 a.m. He was treated for his injuries at a local hospital.

Police said the shooting is believed to have been targeted. MPD's Violent Crimes Unit is investigating the incident.
