Police investigate home invasion, shooting in southeast Atlanta
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Atlanta Police are investigating a home invasion and shooting in southeast Atlanta’s Glenrose Heights neighborhood. Police say officers responded to a home on the 100 block of Ruzelle Drive SE around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday where they discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound. They say their preliminary investigation indicates the victim was in bed when a male suspect, described as tall, thin, with long dreadlocks, broke into the home and shot the victim. They say the suspect then fled the scene.

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Sandy Springs police arrested one person after they searched a home on Maryeanna Drive Wednesday afternoon. Atlanta News First crews watched as investigators carried bags of evidence out of the home. Police later said the search was related to an investigation into multiple storage unit burglaries around metro Atlanta.
