HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Director of Boonville-Warrick County Public Library has provided an update on the future of the Lynnville Branch after a fire damaged the building in April.

According to a statement, Director Brooke Bolton is procuring bids for the interior demolition of the building. State law requires libraries have three bids, which officials say may take some time.

Director Bolton said the structure may still be salvageable, even if the interior will need to be demolished.

The statement also said the library is working on a Boonville Bookmobile schedule to set the Bookmobile up in Lynnville twice a week so that patrons can have a version of the summer reading program available to them.
