A friend of a man who was asleep on the couch when a car crashed into his home early Saturday morning is now raising money to help pay his hospital bills. Joey Lucia was asleep on the couch in his house on Montgomery Street in Chicopee at about 2:45 a.m. when the car, which held four teenagers ages 19, 18, 17 and 13, crashed into his home, coming to a stop in his living room and trapping him underneath, according to a GoFundMe set up by friend Krista Osborne. The car then exploded, seriously injuring him.
