Man sentenced for area burglaries
During an April 16 hearing in Sawyer County Circuit Court, a Turtle Lake man was sentenced to four years probation and assessed restitution for cabin break-ins in the towns of Meteor, Weirgor and Winter during early 2021. Registration is open for the Barron-Polk County Tractor Safety Certification program, which will be held June 17-20 at Barron High School. Tractor Safety Certification is designed to meet both state and federal requirements for youth under 16 years old.
