Elderly man dies after being hit by vehicle at crosswalk in Fayetteville
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — An 86-year-old man has died after being hit by a vehicle on a crosswalk in Fayetteville, according to the Arkansas State Police. Officials said a 2008 Mazda was headed south on North College Avenue when it struck the man as he was trying to cross a crosswalk. Although the driver of the vehicle was reportedly uninjured, the man died as a result of the crash.

ARKANSAS, USA — The CDC (Centers for Disease and Control) is warning consumers that an E. Coli outbreak in two states may be linked to walnuts sold in bulk. The CDC said almost all of them bought organic walnuts. The FDA (Federal Drug Administration) determined that Gibson Farms Inc. supplied the walnuts, and those packages have been recalled.
