In Frederick County Circuit Court on Monday, Nicholas Wayne Summers, 42, was sentenced to 40 years for two counts of 2nd-degree rape .with all but 19 years suspended. He will serve five years of specialized sex offender supervision when he gets out.

Steven Wayne Best Jr., 22, of Brunswick was taken into custody on May 3rd, charged with distribution of fentanyl. His charge is based on a Frederick County Circuit Court indictment.
