    Here's where you can see free movies this summer - in theaters and outdoors

    If you're looking for something to do this summer when school is out and the weather is warmer, free movies are being offered in theaters and at outdoor venues. There will be movies for children, teens and adults, and concession stands will be open. Here is what you need to know.

    Iroquois Amphitheater

    1080 Amphitheater Road. Gates open at 6 p.m. The first movie will start at 7 p.m. and the second starts 30 minutes after the first movie ends. Classic cartoons will be shown before the first film. iroquoisamphitheater.com.

    Xscape Theatres

    Brown-Forman Amphitheater, 1301 River Road. The amphitheater will open an hour before sundown, when the movies will start. Snacks, lemonade by Amiracle Ade Company and beer from Ten20 Craft Brewery will be available for purchase. Movie-goers are also welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
