On Saturday, May 4, Anna Nicole Smith 's daughter, Dannielynn Birkhead , attended the 2024 Kentucky Derby with her father, Larry Birkhead . And fans couldn't get over how much the 17-year-old looks like her late mom.
Larry, 51, took to Instagram ahead of the horse race at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky., with photos of himself and Dannielynn dressed to the nines for the event.
"On the way to @kentuckyderby with Dannielynn after a great night at the Barnstable-Brown Gala and quick morning haircut or two," he wrote, noting the teen's dress was inspired by her "favorite character Hino Eiji, Kamen Rider OOO TaJaDor combo."
Larry continued: "She made me write that 😆 -because that character had the same shoulders as the design of the dress she found! 🤷♂️Hey whatever works, just trying to spend a little quality time as this weekend of traditions come to a close…"

In the comments, folks couldn't get over how much Dannielynn resembles Anna Nicole, who died in 2008 of a combined drug intoxication. One Instagram user wrote, "Awwww you look like your mama who loved you soooo much! Gorgeous girl! ✨⚡️🌬️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️."

Just one day before, Larry and Dannielynn attended the Barnstable-Brown Gala. The doting father posted photos via Instagram of the outing, during which the 17-year-old rocked a dress previously worn by Janet Jackson .
"On our way to Barnstable-Brown Gala for the kick-off of the @kentuckyderby weekend," Larry, 51, captioned the post. "Dannielynn is wearing her second @janetjackson outfit to the party that I got from Janet’s @juliens_auctions -charity auction."
He ended the caption by writing, "Looking forward to a fun Derby weekend with the newly graduated high school student!🐎 👩🎓"
