Lakers Star Sends Blunt Message To Darvin Ham After Conversation Goes Viral

Los Angeles Lakers star D'Angelo Russell has seen some highs and lows in the NBA playoffs. He's been able to produce at times for L.A., but it's been very streaky.

He's had games where he's lights out from a distance and others where he shoots 0-6 from beyond the arc. This has led to questions from fans and media personnel wondering if Russell should be in the starting lineup or even in the rotation at all.

After Lakers head coach Darvin Ham was asked about the situation various times, he reportedly spoke with Russell to boost his confidence and tell him that he still believed in him.

"I believe in myself more than anybody. I don't need that, but I appreciate it," Russell responded, per Lakers Nation on X.

Russell will attempt to produce as much as he can night after night. Sometimes shots aren't falling, but he's not losing confidence.
