UCLA trending for several Transfer Portal targets heading into Saturday spring game

UCLA first-year head coach DeShaun Foster and his staff are expecting 30,000 fans for Saturday’s spring game, and they’ll play host to several coveted transfer portal targets along with some of their favorite high school football prospects.

Kickoff is at 2pm local time.

Going into the festivities, On3 College Sports Business and Transfer Portal Reporter Pete Nakos and I have logged a prediction for the Bruins to land former Louisville offensive lineman Reuben Unije .

UCLA is also looking strong for a couple specialists in long snapper Travis Drosos and punter Brody Richter from South Alabama.

We like the way it’s trending for the Bruins with former LSU cornerback Jeremiah Hughes , a former Top 50 prospect at his position from the 2023 class.

Former Houston and Colorado running back Alton McCaskill is also spending the weekend at UCLA. If Foster and the Bruins have a spot, we like him to land in Westwood.

Key high prospects expected include Thousand Oaks (Calif.) Oaks Christian On300 2025 edge Hayden Lowe and On300 running back Deshonne Redeaux , Los Angeles (Calif.) King Drew Medical Magnet 2025 edge Chinedu Onyeagoro , Orange (Calif.) Lutheran On300 2026 linebacker Talanoa Ili , Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star edge Shaun Scott , Santa Clarita (Calif.) Valencia On300 2026 running back Brian Bonner , Northwestern tight end commit Zach Giuliano out of Corona Del Mar and 2025 edge rusher Epi Sitanilei out of Rancho Cucamonga.

UCLA is also looking for two coveted 2026 quarterbacks in Ryder Lyons and Brady Smigiel to also attend.
