Sun Valley 2-Vehicle Traffic Collision Takes Down Light Pole; 2 Trapped, 3 Total injured

SUN VALLEY, LOS ANGELES, Mar. 21 (KNN) — A two-vehicle traffic collision took down a traffic signal pole and left a total of three people injured including two trapped inside a sedan late Wednesday night in Sun Valley.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a traffic collision around 10:53 p.m. on the 7500 block of North Coldwater Canyon Avenue where two damaged vehicles were found with two people trapped inside a Mercedes-Benz sedan.

The sedan had struck and knocked down a traffic signal pole. The occupants were unable to exit the vehicle without help from fire department personnel. They both appeared to be responsive as firefighters worked to free them.

Three people from the scene were transported by LAFD paramedics to local hospitals. Their conditions were not immediately known.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
