Watertown road closures: Mullin Street, Academy Street
WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - The City of Watertown’s Department of Public Works has closed two streets Wednesday for separate infrastructure projects. Mullin Street is closed to traffic between Holcomb Street and Sherman Street beginning at 8 a.m. for curb work. Academy Street is closed between William Street and Flower Avenue East, also beginning at 8 a.m., for sewer work. Both streets are expected to reopen by the end of the day.

Picente: Roundabout on State Route 825 advancing to next phase
ROME, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) — Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente announced on Thursday that the next phase of a major road project in Rome is moving forward. Picente said in a statement released on Thursday, July 2 that the roundabout construction at the Triangle Site in the City of Rome will advance to its next phase beginning on Tuesday, July 7. The new roundabout is expected to connect State Route 825 to an enhanced Perimeter Road. That road is expected to be the main access point to the Triangle Site, as well as Chobani's new dairy processing facility.
