Jimmy Johnson’s Atlantic City “Quest for the Ring” Tournament Returns with Expanded Event!
Pro Football Hall of Fame Coach Jimmy Johnson and the seasoned team at Fish Hard Events are heading back to Atlantic City for the fourth annual Jimmy Johnson Atlantic City ‘Quest for the Ring’ Championship Fishing Week (JJFISHWEEKAC) on July 14-20. This year’s event will expand its reach with an additional weigh station located at Sunset Marina in Ocean City, Maryland, enhancing accessibility for participants and spectators along the northeastern coast.
Ocean City Walking Club Strolls the Boards on Fridays
The Ocean City Walking Club, which was formed last summer, returns this year and invites everybody to join weekly walks on the Boardwalk on Friday mornings. People of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to meet outside the Ocean City Music Pier at 9 a.m. each Friday to walk the length of the Boardwalk.
Parking Advisory: No more back-in parking in Longport
LONGPORT – A portion of Atlantic Avenue will be closed to parking Tuesday and Wednesday, May 7-8 to allow a contractor to re-stripe the parking lanes. Residents and visitors did not care for the new back-in angled parking configuration on the ocean side of Atlantic Avenue between 24th and 25th avenues that was put in place last year when the roadway was resurfaced, so the lanes will be re-striped to a pull-in configuration.
