Stately convicted on threats of violence charge
Dylan Wesley Stately, 31, Little Falls, was sentenced in Morrison County District Court to 38 days in local confinement and five years of supervised probation and fined $100 for one felony count of threats of violence. If Stately breaks the conditions of his supervised probation, which include no contact with the victim, no possession of alcohol or drugs and submitting to random testing, he faces up to 21 months in a correctional facility. ...

Barn burns to the ground, killing 7,000 turkeys in Stearns County
SAUK CENTRE, Minn. — A farmer in central Minnesota is counting his losses after a barn fire claimed thousands of turkeys. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office said first responders were dispatched to a farm on McCormic Lake Road in Sauk Centre Township around 10:30 p.m. April 30. By the time deputies and fire rigs arrived the barn was fully engulfed.
