Fessler, Eiker Given New Ranks Within Stafford Township Police Department
Stafford Township Police Chief James Haldenwang had nothing but praise for the two officers promoted at the start of the May 7 council meeting. “This is a really special honor tonight. We’re going to promote two excellent candidates,” Haldenwang said. “Steve Fessler is an officer of the highest character. I’m thrilled to be able to add him to my administration, and his family has a lot to be proud of. Karl Eiker also is a man of exceptional character. I’m very proud to be promoting him tonight. One of the great honors I get as chief is to make this happen with my good friends and brothers and sisters in law enforcement, and this is a wonderful night for him and his family.”
