Missouri crime to be featured on ‘Snapped’ 20th anniversary special, Sunday
The TV show Snapped is airing a special 20th-anniversary premiere Sunday, starting season 33. The two-hour special will focus on a crime involving Jerry Cassaday, a Missouri native who was manipulated by his internet girlfriend, Sharee Paulette Kitley Miller, into traveling to Michigan to murder her husband, Bruce Miller.

Missouri campaign submits 320,000 signatures for Osage River casino initiative
In Missouri, the Osage River Gaming & Convention committee submitted 320,000 signatures for a ballot initiative that would allow for a new casino boat on the Osage River. Currently, Missouri state law allows for the Missouri Gaming Commission to distribute 13 gambling licenses, and only allows for these licenses for facilities operating on the Missouri River or Mississippi River. This measure would revise the Missouri Constitution to allow for an additional gambling license for an excursion gambling boat that would operate on the portion of the Osage River from the Missouri River to the Bagnell Dam.
