ACC, Big Ten, SEC teams in contact with Utah State transfer RB Rahsul Faison

Rahsul Faison is the second Utah State running back to hit the portal this spring who has garnered interest from Power 4 programs.

His teammate, Davon Booth , visited Kansas State on Friday. Now Faison is in the portal and has plenty of suitors.

A source tells On3 that Faison has been in contact with Michigan State , Washington , Tennessee , Western Kentucky , Toledo , Ole Miss , North Texas , Oregon , Miami , Utah , New Mexico State and Georgia Tech . The former Marshall transfer and junior college product is on the move after one season with the Aggies.

During his one year in Logan, Utah, the 5-foot-11, 205-pound tailback rushed for 736 yards on 118 carries and five touchdowns. Rahsul Faison also averaged 6.2 yards per carry while posting 11 passes for 52 yards. He tallied two 100-yard games in the 2023 season, too.

The Utah State transfer is expected to visit Washington this Monday and is working to lineup a visit to Tennessee. Minnesota is pushing to get Faison on a visit to Minneapolis. The Golden Gophers return Jordan Nubin , who racked up 559 yards on 127 carries with three touchdowns as a sophomore.

Washington has been in the market to add a running back this offseason. With Dillon Johnson off to the NFL draft, the Huskies need to add an experienced running back to the backfield. Washington running back Tybo Rogers’ has been suspended from team activities.

Ole Miss will likely not add another running back. Despite losing Quinshon Judkins this winter, the Rebels added LSU’s Logan Diggs in January. They’ve also picked up Henry Parrish and
Jacory Merritt this spring.

Faison could be an option at Tennessee, which has yet to add a single player during the spring portal window. The Volunteers are excited about the future of Cameron Seldon , but adding a running back with experience is an option.
