The Delaware State Police Museum was built to preserve the authentic and massive collection of Trooper memorabilia that spans over 100 years.

Since the inception of the Delaware State Police in 1923, the organization has grown significantly. They started out as a highway motorcycle patrol group of about 400 Troopers. The museum houses the historical and educational artifacts that tell the whole story. From weapons to community outreach and a wall dedicated to fallen Troopers, this place has it all.

The museum is open every Thursday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm and it is completely free. They ask that you donate what you can because the facility is ran primarily off donations. They consider themselves the best kept secret in Delaware, and they don't mean for it to be. You can spend hours going through the various exhibits and still miss something.
