Moline crews will re-stripe part of 18th Street to create one-way traffic

The City of Moline will re-stripe 18^th Street between 6^th and 7^th avenues on Friday, Sept. 4, to create one-way traffic and additional on-street parking.

After the work is complete, traffic will be northbound only. New one-way signs will also be installed along the block.

The new traffic pattern will allow for more on-street parking for nearby businesses and visitors.

Drivers should watch for crews, new pavement markings and signs while traveling through the area Friday. "The City of Moline thanks drivers for their patience as they adjust to the new traffic pattern," the release concludes.
