Power out at 3 Rock Island schools; no classes

There are no classes today for students at three schools in the Rock Island-Milan School District.

A notification from the district says there is no power at Rock Island Academy, Frances Willard Elementary and Rock Island High School.

“Scholars at these schools are excused from attendance today,” the notification said. The district will provide updates when available.
