Officials seek help to find missing Iowa man

Officials seek help to find a missing Iowa man, according to a news release from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
Christopher Richard Jennings, whose nickname is Casey, was last seen Thursday, May 22, at 12:20 p.m. near the Benton Street bridge in Iowa City.
Jennings is about 6’2” and weighs about 160 pounds. He has blue eyes, grayish-brown hair, and was last known to be cleanly shaven. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, red/white plaid shirt, blue jeans, and a black baseball cap worn in combination with a black Hawkeyes stocking cap.

During his last-known sighting he was carrying a green-and-brown bag over his shoulder.
Jennings is known to frequently fish near the Riverfront Crossing area of Iowa City.
Authorities ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the Joint Emergency Communications Center at 319-356-6800.
