The Garrison in downtown Davenport is closed

2025-03-12The Garrison , a high-end restaurant that opened in October 2023, is closed, according to a sign on the front of the entrance way to the restaurant.
The sign says:
“To Our Valued Customers,

US Coast Guard Intercepts 200+ Migrants at Sea
The US Coast Guard has intercepted or repatriated more than 200 migrants involved in more than half a dozen cartel smuggling attempts this month off both US coasts. The latest smuggling run they interrupted occurred on September 13, 2026 21 miles west of San Diego.
