LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Kiwanis Club of Livingston’s annual carnival returns to the Kiwanis Karnival grounds on East Northfield Road on Tuesday, May 14. From May 14 through May 18, residents of Livingston and surrounding communities are invited to enjoy games, rides, food and fun for the whole family.

Admission is free for this five-day event, which serves as the primary fundraiser for the Livingston Kiwanis Club. For more than 75 years, the Kiwanis Karnival has provided funding for scholarships for local students as well as local organizations such as the volunteer Livingston Fire Department and First Aid Squad and charitable groups such as Livingston Neighbors Helping Neighbors.

In addition to allowing the Kiwanis Club to continue supporting various community causes, current president Gabriela Vieira said Livingston Kiwanis also looks forward to keeping this cherished Livingston tradition alive for the many parents who are “reliving their childhood memories of their time at the Karnival” each year.

“The Karnival provides a safe, affordable entertaining day or evening for children and their families,” said Livingston Kiwanis Club secretary and longtime member Mike Pollack. “Grandparents who came to the Karnival as children, now attend with their children and grandchildren. The food, rides and games appeal to all ages and generations, providing a true family experience for our community.”

Ride credits for the 2024 Kiwanis Karnival will be sold from self-service kiosks on site daily and loaded onto wristbands. Saturday, May 18, is hand stamp day, meaning that guests can pay a one-time price of $40 to ride all day from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Earlier in the day, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Kiwanis Karnival will be closed to the general public and opened exclusively for people with special needs and their families for the Kiwanis Club’s Annual Barry Ross ARC Day in partnership with the ARC of Essex County. Families are asked to RSVP for the ARC Day event BY CLICKING HERE .
