8 displaced in Northampton County apartments blaze, fire official says
Eight adults are homeless after a rapidly-moving blaze tore through a building in East Allen Township, a fire official said. Township Fire Chief Josh Smith told lehighvalleylive.com flames just before 4:30 a.m. Sunday ignited at the building, occupying five apartments, near the Phillips Pet Supply Outlet. Responding crews reported flames visible upon arrival from the back and then quickly spreading throughout the second level.
