BETHLEHEM, Pa. (CBS) -- A Lehigh Valley school police officer is facing criminal charges after an alleged relationship with a student.Officials in the Bethlehem Area School District say they began an investigation into the officer, who was assigned to the East Hills Middle School, after "alleged inappropriate behavior." The district said he also coaches a soccer team at the school.The City of Bethlehem Police Department and the district both placed the officer on administrative leave. Stolen Car Leads Police On Chase Through Palmer Township: Authorities
Joshua E. Ewell, 25, is charged with receiving stolen property, fleeing arrest, reckless endangerment, and related counts, said township police. Around 8:45 p.m., officers spotted Ewell in a grey Kia Soul that had been reported stolen out of Easton, authorities said. He fled when they tried to pull him over, leading police on a chase through the township's Old Orchard section, according to officials.
